Superglass conducts in-depth brand health study

Superglass is one of the UK’s leading glass mineral wool insulation manufacturers, with a heritage of over 40 years. The company recently secured a ringing endorsement of its brand, product range and service from the building industry as part of an in-depth brand health study carried out by MRA Research.

The study, carried out among a sample of 260 builders’ merchants, distributors, installers, and specifiers, aimed to provide a better understanding of the Superglass brand and several of its key competitors, to help inform strategic decision making and enhance its performance. The primary objective was to identify how Superglass measures up against critical service, product, and support factors valued by merchants, installers and specifiers.

Some key findings from the research included:

  • 81% of customers feel valued by Superglass – a key measure of success in product category notable for high customer expectations.
  • 76% of customers acknowledge that Superglass has significantly benefited their business.
  • 100% of customers believe Superglass’ service is either on par with (42%) or superior to (58%) other suppliers.
  • 100% of customers report that Superglass’ overall service has either improved (45%) or remained consistent (55%).
  • 91% of customers fully trust Superglass’ promises, marketing, and claims
  • Superglass was always ranked above its competitors on order processing, price, quality of sales team, working closely with distributors, product information, and training.

The Superglass Brand Health study was carried out between February and April 2024. 260 interviews were collected by MRA Research, via telephone and online surveys, among a mixture of builders’ merchants, distributors, installers and specifiers.
