Inspiring sessions at the BMF Annual Conference

MRA Research attended some really fascinating, thought provoking and – dare I say it – inspiring sessions at the Builders Merchants Federation Annual Conference earlier. No mean feat!

Whilst it’s a tough trading backdrop – a reality we mustn’t shy away from – the forward-facing ethos of the conference (with its focus on innovation and the power of people/teams) provided a lot of positivity and reassurance in relation to medium and longer-term commercial horizons.

Great sessions from John Newcombe (BMF members update), Steve Collinge (merchant branch of the future) and Kate Richardson-Walsh OLY OBE (winning together & ‘gold-medal standards’). All expertly ring-mastered – with considerable energy – by Colin Murray.
